A Message from our Board
Please join us on Sunday, July 26th, as we celebrate Harriet's final Sunday as our Minister and Spiritual Leader of the Center for Spiritual Living Lighthouse. As Harriet begins a new and meaningful chapter in her ministry as a chaplain, we celebrate her with deep gratitude for her years of loving service, inspiration, and dedication to our spiritual community.
While we will miss Harriet dearly, the Lighthouse continues its journey with Sunday services offered both in person and online. We are excited to welcome a wonderful lineup of guest ministers throughout the month of August and invite you to watch our newsletter for upcoming speakers, events, and opportunities to gather in community. We know you will be inspired by all that lies ahead.
As Jack is not yet able to attend services in person, Harriet has requested that our July 26 celebration be a simple expression of our love and appreciation. We look forward to hosting a larger celebration in mid-Fall, when Jack is able to join us.
Following Harriet's message, we invite everyone—both those attending in person and those joining us online—to share a brief testimonial about what Harriet's ministry, classes, or Sunday messages have meant to them. We encourage you to spend a few moments reflecting beforehand so your words can become part of this special celebration.
In keeping with Harriet's wishes, this will not be a potluck. The Board will provide a selection of light refreshments, including cake, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, along with beverages following the service.
One of the most meaningful gifts we can give Harriet is our heartfelt words. We invite everyone to bring an individual card expressing your love, gratitude, and appreciation for her years of faithful service and the countless lives she has touched. Whether you share a favorite memory, a heartfelt thank you, a lesson you have learned, or simply let her know how she has blessed your life, your words will become a treasured keepsake that Harriet can return to again and again in the years to come.
Please bring your card to the July 26 service. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to mail your card to:
Jerri Bowen

Together, let's surround Harriet with the love, gratitude, and blessings of her Lighthouse family, sending her forward with hearts full of appreciation and a collection of cherished memories she can carry into this next chapter of her journey.
