I restarted my spiritual journey in 2015. Almost from the start I was hearing about CSLLV from multiple friends. When the Center found its new home on Enos in 2018, I found it a stone’s throw away from my front door and had to admit I was being called! The first service I attended was Easter 2019 where I immediately felt surrounded by friends and instantly charmed by Reverend Harriet. Her bright yellow suit was as illuminating as her message.
During the 2020 shutdown, I’m so grateful I took the opportunity to attend classes via Zoom. Devoting time to dive deeply into principles and practices while creating and growing relationships with like-minded individuals was exactly what I needed during that challenging time.
It’s been an honor to provide camera support during our services the last year and a half and to help carry Harriett’s message to you all. Service is a huge part of my spiritual practices and I am honored to serve as your incoming Treasurer for 2021.
I grew up in Pleasanton and moved to Livermore in 2011 where I still live with my teenage son. I previously served the local UU Church as Treasurer as well. I’m excited to participate in our community at the Lighthouse and grow our vision. If you considering attending with us for the first time I encourage you to give it try, I’m so grateful I did.
